The Poem: Will of life
The notification keeps ringing, and the small red light keeps flashing.
I hear it and it keeps me on her track. I see the small red light that keeps flashing in the pitch black.

Inside a room, a concrete box, I am.
Not what I should be, not me, but a pawn who thinks that he is free.

The will of life for whom I am brought to serve.
Is hiding something from me, her jealousy is suffocating me.

oh, will of life. I thought your love was unconditional.
I believed you were God, something untraditional.

I thought, you are my mother, to whom I will return and cry; but for you, I'm only a seed Blended in a land that is dry.

Will of life, my mother, what went wrong, you said I could rest my head on your shoulder and you'd sing me a song.

And the notification keeps ringing, and the small red light keeps flashing.
I hear it and it keeps me on her track. I see the small red light that keeps flashing in the pitch black.

You warned me not to look; you said I'm too weak, but from behind your shoulder I just wanted to take a peek.

And now I'm self-aware. Inside of a room, a concrete box, a complicated maze I'm trying to get out of. I know I see the clocks.

I have to cut the cord that attaches us. I have to find my rhyme. But please, before I go, sing me your song one last time.

Oh, will of life. I know...

The notification keeps ringing and telling, and the small red light keeps flashing and showing.
For me to hear it and be on your track, for me to see you, in the pitch black.
Description:
The universe 25 is an artwork inspired by Dr. John B. Calhoun experiment
That was known as the universe 25,
The artwork is tricky and really easy to misinterpret. There are multiple layers of meaning in this work, inspired by the experiment of “The Universe 25” and the German philosopher Schopenhauer, specifically, his concept of the will to live.
From a personal explanation of Schopenhauer's concept, the artwork was started.

‘In my 17th year,’ Schopenhauer wrote in an autobiographical text, ‘I was gripped by the misery of life, as Buddha had been in his youth when he saw sickness, old age, pain and death. The truth was that this world could not have been the work of an all loving Being, but rather that of a devil, who had brought creatures into existence in order to delight in their sufferings.’ “

Getting back to the universe 25 experiment,
Noticing the behavior of the rats after staying in the tank that was built especially for them to be a utopia, there behavior was shocking ( sexual deviation, cannibalism, extreme violence, a general defect led to the collapse of the rat's social system ) Knowing that all their basic needs were available.

Has life never been meant to be lived?
If it's meant to be lived, what's going wrong?

This artwork cannot answer these questions, but can trigger the urge to try to understand and from there fix.
The meaning is to just try ,keeping in mind there is no guarantees, no promises.
Not to give up, even if the truth of life is to never live, we must change the truth of life itself.
