We are

Bank Accounts API (BAAPI)⁠

, a team responsible for creating, validating, and maintaining external bank accounts for Square in all global regions. Historically this has meant a bank account to receive nightly settlement, but has grown to include various use cases for Sellers, Employees, Capital Investors, Cash, and Customers. Ownership extends from bank account APIs layer down to a bank account primitive system (gringotts).
