Writing Day 2

Inspired by- Morgan Housel
“Intelligent people understand technical details, smart people understand emotional details”

Let me clear that up:
Intelligence: memory, logic-based thinking, school skills, test-taking skills, and rule-following.
Smart: empathy, detecting dram, handling high stake conservations, persuasion, team building, having awareness, and most importantly understanding the consequences of your actions.

Where and how do we get this?
School?

Well, It’s the schools responsibility to produce intelligent bumb’s . Why do I say that?
From day 1 we have been told to complete our homework, follow the instructions, study for the test, and do your best on the exam.

Being young and naive, without asking any questions we are programed to follow the instructions and perform the tasks that make us comfortable.

That’s the reason, this world rarely sees an individual with both intelligence and smartness.

So, I have a proposal.
Instead of spending 100% of your time and energy towards memorizing the formula to find the hypotenuse.
Let’s instead focus on learning and understanding, real world skills.
(You may ask, “what are those?”)

Understanding others, from their point of view.
Learning to communicate with others without hurting or being judgmental.
Grasping the Art of Storytelling
(Great leader like: Bill Clinton, Steve Jobs, Alex Hormozi, Hasan Minhaj, Colin & Samir
were and are great storyteller, who are able to capture our attention with just words)
Leadership skills (There are books written on this subject for you to read)

Once you’ve ingrained these foundational concepts into your heart,
No intelligent bumb who’s main skill is memorizing formulas can outperform the smart person who can instantly relate to the emotions of coworkers, customers, spouses, and friends on a deep level.

You need to stop focusing on the wrong beliefs
and start learing the important skills.

Once again, thank-you for tuning in to the second episode. I hope you found it valuable.
I appreciate you reading, listening, and sharing it with others.
