Coaching Copilot (Est. late Sept 2023)

Problem: The ASUO success centers face overwhelming numbers of student inquiries encompassing various topics, demanding significant time and resources for resolution. To enhance efficiency and response time, we plan to integrate an AI copilot into our student support call centers, capable of handling inquiries, aggregating resources, and delivering scripted responses to maintain smooth conversations.
Description: An AI Copilot that augments our success centers, by aggregating resources and data from across the many tools the call centers are use in one AI-based search tool. The copilot is also capable of using the content provided to produce a short script for the coach to follow or modify that answers the student's question and keeps the conversation flowing. ​Next Steps: Starting conversations with ET to partner on this project. ​Blockers: NA

Degree Pairing AI POC (Est. Oct 2023)

Problem: At ASUO, students often experience choice paralysis while selecting a degree due to the multitude of options available. Moreover, even after choosing a degree, students may face difficulties understanding its comprehensive scope, including courses, career opportunities, and potential work, leading to uninformed decisions, changes in majors, and potential delays and expenses in degree completion.
Description: AI based degree assessment tool for the ASUO website. Personalized Degree Page Content (Est. Dec 2023)

Problem: At ASUO, students face choice paralysis when selecting a degree, and even after making a choice, they struggle to grasp the degree's full scope, leading to uninformed decisions, changes in majors, and potential delays and costs in completing their degrees.

Otter AI Integration

With the implementation of Otter Ai, an automated note-taking tool, teams at EdPlus can now rely on the AI assistant to capture and transcribe meeting discussions, ensuring that essential information is recorded accurately, even if certain team members cannot be physically present.
