Givers are the most valuable people in an organization. In terms of performance, Givers tend to achieve the least and most success in the workplace (Takers and Matchers achieve average performance). Here are a few ways you can be a Giver next week:

Say "yes" to 5-minute favors which will help you build a big network

Put your group's interest before your own

Share credit with your team versus just for yourself (give credit where it's due)

Ask yourself how the recipient might feel in the given situation to get their perspective

If you are in a leadership position, reveal your weaknesses rather than making a formal declaration to relate with your audience
