Spext had its inception in UC Berkeley. Backed by top silicon valley VCs like Village Global, OVO and other strategic angel investors, we are building remotely from India for a global consumer base. Founders have previously built award winning products and scaled to millions of users.

We are hiring for a Backend engineer who has passion for building reliable architecture. Have great problem solving skills and writes highly optimised code. Have interest in working with audio/ video backend systems.

Technologies and Experience

Building backend features using Python and NodeJs.

Solid knowledge of Linux and systems.

Understanding of API design and development.

Bonus

Familiarity with audio/video tech FFMPEG etc.

Headless browsers.

Contribution to open source projects.

Responsibilities

Maintain codebase and improve the feature.

Develop APIs and features for the product.

Experience- 2+ years

Location - Remote

Salary Range - Open to discussion.
