The School library is your school's central hub for the units, learning experiences, assessments, worksheets, and quick tasks created across your courses. As an educator, you can use it to find content built by you and your colleagues across grades, subjects, and academic years.

Navigate to the School library

To open the School library: homepageSchool library card.

Inside the School library, you can use the collapsible side panel on the left to switch between the Units and Learning experiences/assessments views.

Unit library

The Units view holds every unit created by you and other educators across your school’s courses, grades, subjects, and academic years. Use the search bar to find a specific unit, or refine the list using the filters.
To see the actions available for a unit, click the three-dot menu on the unit card. The options you see depend on your access rights:
Edit unit: Modify the unit’s content. This option is unavailable if you do not have edit access to the unit or if the unit is locked.
Download planner: Generate a PDF copy of the unit plan. Choose Quick download for the main planning sections, or Custom download to select exactly which sections to include. The PDF is emailed to your registered address. To learn more about download options, refer to .
Delete unit: Remove the unit. This option is available only if you have the necessary access rights.
Note: If you wish to import units from the School library into your own course, open your course plan, click + Add, and select School library. To learn more about importing units, refer to .

Learning experiences/assessments library

The Learning experiences/assessments view gives you access to all tasks that are part of a course flow, along with all quick tasks created by educators across your school's courses, grades, subjects, and academic years. Items are grouped by the month they were created, with a count for each group.
Use the search bar to find a specific task, or refine the list using the filters.
To see the actions available for a task, click the three-dot menu on its card. From here, you can Print the task to generate a printable version.
Note: Quick tasks are unit-independent, so they are always stored in the School library. To create or assign learning experiences, assessments, and quick tasks, refer to .

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: If I create a task inside a course and tag a unit to it, will it appear in the School library?
Yes, a copy of the task is added to the course flow, and that copy appears in the School Library.
Q: If I later edit the task in the class, will the School library version update?
No, the copy in the course flow is independent. Any edits you make to the original class task (e.g., title, tools, instructions) will not update the copy in the School library.
Q: Which tasks reliably show up in the School library?
Only tasks that exist in the course flow (either created there or copied there when a unit is tagged) appear in the School library.
Q: Do quick tasks always appear in the School library?
Yes, quick tasks are unit-independent, so they are always stored in the School library.

That's all for now. We will continue to innovate and improve to make your Toddle experience better each day!
