[WIP] Notifications manager: Slack version

Notifications manager allows you to centrally manage which notifications are sent to users and how they receive them - via in-app alerts, email, or push notifications. Use the options on this page to centrally manage notification behaviour at your school.
Note: If a notification is turned off here, users can’t turn it back on from their own Notification preferences.

How Notifications work

Each row represents a system trigger grouped by module (for example, Assignments or Behaviour management).
If you enable a trigger:
A notification is generated when the corresponding event occurs.
It is delivered through the selected channel(s).
Users may adjust their personal preferences unless restricted at the admin level.
If you disable a trigger:
No new notifications are generated for that event.
The trigger appears restricted or unavailable in the user’s Notification preferences.
Previously delivered notifications remain visible.
Note: Some triggers support only specific delivery channels. Unsupported channels appear blank and cannot be selected.

Choose how users are notified

Notifications are managed separately for Staff members, Students and Family members.
From the left sidebar, select a user group.
Turn on Enable notifications for [user group] to allow notifications for that group.
Choose how notifications should be delivered:
Select checkboxes for individual triggers, or
Use Enable all at the top of a column to apply the channel to all triggers.
Tip: Use the search bar to find a specific trigger quickly.
