Gradebook visibility settings control what grading information is visible to students and family members.

Use this page to configure the visibility of the gradebooks.

Final grades gradebook

Control visibility of Subject/Course score and Subject/Course grade

Set visibility for individual grade scales for students and family members by choosing from the dropdown:

Visible for all grading periods

Only visible for past grading periods

Hidden

Assessment gradebook

Control visibility of Category score for students and family members:

Visible for all grading periods

Only visible for past grading periods

Standards gradebook

Choose whether the Standards list is visible

Things to keep in mind

Visibility settings apply school-wide and affect all courses/subjects.

Only visible for past grading periods hides grades during an ongoing term and reveals them once the grading period is complete.

Hiding a grade scale here does not stop teachers from grading; it only controls what students and families can see.

Learning goals visibility depends on Skills being set up and graded. If Skills are not configured, learning goals cannot be evaluated and will not be shown in the Learning goals gradebook.
