The Students page allows you to manage student records in your school.
From adding new students to assigning classes and homeroom advisors to managing login access, this page serves as a central hub for maintaining student data on the platform.
What can I do on this page?
Manage all student-related data and actions from this page.
View a list of all students along with their assigned classes, student sign-in codes, and linked family members. Add student data using the available methods: Sync via your Student Information System (SIS) Add an individual student by clicking +Add student and filling out basic and personal details, and adding them to classes. If a class is being taught at multiple levels, select the relevant one. Add students from previous academic years, review details, and assign classes. Bulk add or update students: Download a template with existing students or a blank template. Fill mandatory fields such as First name, Last name, and Year group. Upload the completed sheet and review the confirmation preview. Click Confirm upload to complete. Use the three-dot menu to manage individual actions: Edit student details using the full multi-tab profile. Download portfolio for one or more academic years. Print student sign-in code: Generate a PDF or QR code for login. Impersonate this user: Access the platform as the selected student. Any changes made are recorded as actions taken by the student. Reset student sign-in code: Regenerate credentials and optionally log the student out of all devices. Temporarily block access: Restrict access while keeping the student visible in teacher rosters. Blocking also suspends family access. Archive student: Remove student from active rosters. Logout student from all devices: End all active sessions for the student. Invite family via email: Send login invitations in the selected language. Print family invite: Generate printable PDF login invitations. Reset family invite code: Create new login credentials and optionally log family out of all devices. Use the download button to export student and family information: Download student list: Export the full list or filtered view of students as a spreadsheet. Download students with no family added: Export a list of students who do not have family members linked to their profile. Download all family members: Export all family accounts associated with students as an XLSX file. Things to keep in mind
Student UID is auto-generated if left blank. Bulk uploads never delete or overwrite existing students; they only add or update records. Archived students cannot log in, cannot have attendance marked, and do not appear in active class rosters. They can be restored at any time. Blocking a student suspends access temporarily but keeps them visible to teachers. Teachers can still assign work to blocked students. Family access is also suspended. Resetting student or family sign-in codes lets you choose whether to log them out of all devices. Family access is automatically suspended when a student is blocked or archived. Impersonating a student lets administrators act as that student. All actions are recorded as the student’s activity. To learn more about the SIS integrations supported by Toddle, check out .
