Student goals help support students in setting personal goals, defining milestones, tracking progress, and reflecting on achievements. From here, you can view, create, manage, and review goals for students across your classes.

✏️ What can I do on this page?

Use this page to view, create, and manage student goals:
View goals for students in your classes by selecting a student from the left panel.
Goals are organised into Ongoing and Completed tabs.
Use the Classes filter to narrow down students by class enrolment.
Create new goals for a student by clicking Add goal.
Add a goal title and target completion date.
Break goals into smaller milestones, each with its own target date.
Manage existing goals and milestones:
Use the 3-dot menu on a goal or milestone to edit or delete it.
You can only delete goals and milestones that you have created.
Add and review evidence for goals and milestones:
Attach work, comments, or feedback directly to a goal or milestone.
Open the side panel to view all evidence and have one-on-one conversations with students.
Track progress and completion:
Mark a student's goal or individual milestones as complete using the tick icon.
Goals are automatically marked complete once all milestones are completed.
Completed goals move to the Completed tab, but can be marked incomplete if needed.
Duplicate goals for multiple students:
Use the Duplicate goal to other students to apply the same goal to selected students.
Use the Grades and Classes filters to find relevant students while duplicating.

💡 Things to keep in mind

Students can also create their own goals, which educators can view and manage from this page.
Family members can view their child’s goals, milestones, and shared evidence from their student profile.
Students are notified each time new goals, milestones, or evidence are added for them.
