Single point rubrics

Single-point rubrics help your school define clear performance criteria while allowing teachers space to record strengths and areas for growth.
All single-point rubric templates created here become part of your school’s assessment tool library and are available for teachers to use while creating tasks.

What can I do on this page?

Use this page to create and manage single-point rubric templates for your school.
When creating a new single-point rubric:
Enter a rubric title.
Add criteria using Add row.
Edit the central criteria column to describe the expected standard.
The Concerns and Advanced columns remain blank for teachers to complete during evaluation.
Rearrange or delete criteria as needed using the icons.
Click Save to add the rubric to your school’s assessment tool templates.
Edit default headers to rename the Concern / Criteria / Advanced headings. These changes apply only to new single-point rubrics.
Use Search to quickly find a rubric by name.
Use the Actions menu (three dots) to edit, preview, duplicate, or delete a single-point rubric.

Things to keep in mind

Single-point rubrics created here become available to teachers when they build assessments in their classes.
Editing default headers does not update headers in any single-point rubrics already created or used in tasks; it only applies to new single-point rubrics.
Editing a single-point rubric template does not affect any existing tasks where the rubric has already been used.
Deleting a single-point rubric removes it from the list of templates available for new tasks but does not affect existing tasks where it has already been used.
Teachers can also create their own single-point rubrics within the class and optionally save them to the school template library.
