Levels help differentiate how a subject or course is taught and assessed based on difficulty or pathway - such as HL, SL, AP, or similar variations used in your school.
What can I do on this page?
Use this page to create and manage levels that differentiate how subjects or courses are taught and assessed.
View all levels created in your school, along with their display name, abbreviation, linked subjects, linked courses, and active/archived(inactive) status. Create a new level using + New level by adding a name, abbreviation, and display name. Manage existing levels using the three-dot menu to Edit, Delete or mark a level as Inactive. Things to keep in mind
In a subject-based setup: Levels are directly associated with subjects. A single subject can be linked to one or more levels. When creating a course, teachers select the subject and the relevant level(s). Courses inherit level information through the subjects linked to them. Levels are linked directly to courses. Subjects are optional and do not determine level association. When creating a course, teachers select the relevant level(s) directly at the course level. Levels can be marked as inactive if no longer needed, but cannot be deleted if they are in use. Archiving(making it inactive) a level prevents it from being used in future setups while preserving existing data.
