How do I use my homepage?

The homepage is your starting point in Toddle. It uses a widget-based layout to give you quick access to the tools, tasks, and information most relevant to your role.
Depending on your configuration, your homepage may include the following widgets:
Toddle Library
Timetable
Assignments
Modules
Courses and classes
The sections below explain each widget in detail.

Toddle Library

The Toddle Library widget gives you access to a rich collection of high-quality resources curated by experienced educators. Explore learning experiences, unit plans, and curated collections across grade levels, and easily incorporate them into your teaching.
Select Go to library at the top-right of the widget to open the full library to filter resources by subjects/curricula and grade level, bookmark anything you want to come back to later, and add resources or assessments directly to your classes and units. Timetable

The Timetable widget shows all your scheduled classes for the day across the schools you are teaching.
The blue card highlights the ongoing class, making it easy to see which slot is currently in progress.
Click the pencil icon next to a class to mark attendance directly from the widget. Once attendance has been marked for a class, the icon turns green so you can see at a glance which classes are still pending. To learn more about marking and managing attendance as a class teacher, refer to .
Note: You will be able to mark attendance from the widget only if your school has configured period-wise or combined (daily & period) attendance.
Click the expand arrow at the top-right of the widget to open the full Timetable page. From there, you can browse your weekly schedule, switch between week and list views, check another teacher’s schedule, mark attendance, and download a PDF of your timetable. Assignments

The Assignments widget shows all assignments that you have assigned to students across the classes you teach in the current school. From here, you can:
Switch between the All, To-review, Unread, and Scheduled tabs, each with a count so you can quickly see what needs attention.
Filter assignments by grading period, creator, and class to narrow down your view.
View the submission, evaluation, and share status for each assignment at a glance.
Click any task to navigate to its submissions page.
Click the Move to reviewed icon to move the task to the Reviewed state
Click the expand arrow at the top-right of the widget to open the full Assignments manager, which gives you a centralized view of all the assignments you have created across your classes.

Modules

The Modules widget provides quick access to the school-level tools available to you, such as Messaging, Planning insights, Calendar, Progress reports, and more. The modules you see depend on features enabled by your school admin and your role permissions. Badges on module cards indicate new activity.
Click any module card to open that module. To learn more about each module, refer to .
Customize the Modules widget
To customize the modules shown on your homepage, click the Display settings (⫶⫶⫶) icon in the top-right corner of the widget. In the window, you can:
Toggle individual modules on or off.
Reorder modules by dragging the six-dot (⠿) handle beside a module.
Select Save changes to apply your preferences, or Cancel to discard them.
Your preferences are saved across the schools that you are added to.

Courses and classes

Below the dashboard widgets, you will find the Courses and classes section.
It lists all your teaching assignments under two tabs: Teacher courses (the courses you are assigned to teach) and Blueprint courses (master course templates linked to multiple teacher courses to keep shared content in sync). Each teacher course appears with its associated classes alongside.
Click a course to open its course plan, or click any class to enter the classroom directly. Use the search, filter, and display options at the top-right to narrow down the list or change how course listings appear.

Show/hide widgets

You can choose which optional widgets appear on your homepage.
Click your profile avatar at the top-right corner of the homepage and select Show/hide widgets from the menu. From here, you can turn the Toddle Library, Timetable, and Assignments widgets on or off.
Your widget preferences are saved across all schools where you teach.
Note: The Modules and Courses and classes widgets are always shown and cannot be hidden.

Switch back to the old homepage

If you would like to revert to the previous homepage layout, click your profile avatar at the top-right corner of your homepage and select Switch to old homepage from the menu.
You can return to the new homepage anytime by opening the profile menu again and selecting the option to switch back.
