How can I view my child's gradebook as a family member?

|
The Gradebook gives you a clear view of how your child is performing across all their subjects/courses. You can see their overall scores, individual assessment results, progress on learning standards, and skill ratings, on both the web and the app.
Note: The content shown in your child’s gradebook depends on how your school has set up grading and what your child’s teachers and school have chosen to share with families.

On the web

Navigate to the gradebook

To open the Gradebook, go to your home page and click on the Gradebook card.

Final grades gradebook

The Final grades tab gives you an at-a-glance view of how your child is performing across all their subjects/courses. Each row represents one subject/course. Use the Grading period(s) dropdown to switch between periods.
The columns you see depend on how your school has configured grading:
If your school has levels within subjects/courses, they appear next to each subject/course name, indicating the level at which the student is studying that subject/course.
Your child’s overall score for the grading period appears in the score column. If your school does not use score-based grading for a subject/course, that column shows a dash (-).
Any grade scales your school uses for final grades, such as Achievement level or Letter grade, each appear as their own column. Your school may have one or several.
If your school tracks GPA and credits, you will see Grade point, Credits, and Quality points columns for each subject/course, with Total credits and GPA shown as summary rows at the bottom.
If your school has configured score or grade aggregation, Total and/or Average summary rows appear at the bottom.
A dash (-) in a summary cell means the subject/course has no ratings to aggregate yet, or the value has been hidden by your school.
N/A means no aggregation method has been configured for that grade scale, or the subject/course uses an alpha grade scale. Because letter grades cannot be summed numerically, the Total cell always shows N/A for alpha grade scales.
The grade scales and grading methodology can differ from one subject/course to another and from one grading period to another.
Note: Subjects/courses configured for standards-based grading do not appear here. Their final grades are shown in the Standards section of the gradebook.

Below the summary, you will see all tasks assigned to your child. These appear only when an evaluation tool is attached, and they show up in the grading period in which they were created.
Each row shows one task. The columns display the evaluation tools the teacher used:
Checklist: any checklist criteria used to evaluate your child’s work
Rubric: criteria rated across multiple performance levels by the teacher
Single-point rubric: criteria with a single performance level marked by the teacher
Final remarks/comment: written feedback from the teacher
Score: your child’s numeric score

For DP students

A dash (-) in any column means the evaluation tool was not used for that task, or the evaluation has not been shared with families. If your child changes classes during the year, their assessments from the previous class continue to appear in the gradebook for the relevant grading period.
Click on the task title to see its details, or click an individual assessment tool to see the detailed evaluation.
