Navigate to the Timetabled weekly planner

The Timetabled weekly planner is available as a tab within your course plan. It is turned off by default, so you will need to enable it first.
To enable it, open the course plan and click the icon in the top right corner to open Display settings. Scroll to the bottom of the panel and toggle on the Timetable view. Once enabled, a Timetable tab appears at the top of the course plan.
Note: You need Course editor access to add or manage content in the Timetabled weekly planner. If you have Course viewer access, you can only view the content.
Note: Periods must be configured in the classes mapped to the course you are in before they appear in the Timetabled weekly planner. If you enable the view and see an empty grid, set up your class periods first. To learn how, refer to .

Customize the view

The Timetabled weekly planner displays scheduled periods across the selected date range for all classes you teach in the course.
You can adjust the layout and scope of the view using the controls at the top right:
Weekly / three-day / Daily: Switch between a five-day weekly layout, a three-day view, or a single-day view. Use the arrow buttons or the date picker to move between weeks.
Classes: Filter the view to periods for a specific class or see the weekly planner for all your classes together. Click the dropdown and select a class name to narrow the grid.
Note: The Classes filter only displays classes that you are associated with.
To control what appears inside each period card, open Display settings and expand the Timetable view section. From there, you can toggle individual options on or off:
View timestamp on left axis: Show or hide the period timings on the left side of the grid.
Show calendar events: Include school-level calendar events in the view alongside period content.
Note: Video meetings created from the Calendar view are not shown. If multiple grades share a timetable routine, a calendar event for one grade will appear across all grades mapped to that routine.
View subjects: Display the subject associated with each period.
View locations: Show the room or location assigned to each period.
Show/hide content within periods: Use the checkboxes to indicate which content types (Units, Assessments, etc.) appear in period cards. For LEs, assessments, and quick tasks, you can also choose which detail fields appear for each item within the card, such as the grading period and assessment tool(s).
Note: These settings are specific to you. Any changes you make will only affect your view of the timetabled weekly planner and will persist across sessions.

Frequently asked questions

Q. Why are no periods showing in my Timetabled weekly planner?

Periods appear in the Timetabled weekly planner only after they have been configured for your class and you have been assigned as a teacher to those periods. If the grid is empty after enabling the view, check that periods are set up for your class and that you are assigned to them. To learn how to configure class periods, refer to .

Q. Can I see content planned by another teacher in the Timetabled weekly planner?

The Timetabled weekly planner shows only the periods and content associated with the classes you have access to.

Q. Why can I see content in the Timetabled weekly planner (course timetable view) but not in the Timetable widget or my profile's Timetable tab?

The Timetabled weekly planner has two views that work differently:
Course timetable view (the Timetabled weekly planner itself, accessible within a course): Displays all periods and content for classes you have access to, regardless of whether you are tagged as a teacher for those periods.
Teacher timetable: Appears as the Timetable widget on the homepage and the Timetable tab in your profile. It only displays periods for classes where you are specifically tagged as a teacher.
Having access to a course or class is not sufficient for content to appear in the teacher timetable; you must also be assigned as a teacher to the class periods.
