Toddle allows educators to set up the timetable for their classes. The overall periods are configured by the school administrator. As an educator, you claim the periods you teach and configure your own class timetable using those predefined slots.
In this article, you will learn how to:
Navigate to the timetable configuration
Create a timetable
View and download the timetable

Navigate to the timetable configuration

From your homepage, you can access the class timetable from:
Your class → Settings → Preferred class → Timetable configuration

Your school administrator would have created class periods for each school from within the admin portal. Based on that, you will be able to configure your class timetable from here.
Click on the ‘Edit’ button in the top right corner to select the slots or periods that you or another teacher mapped to this class will teach.

Create a timetable

On this page, you will be able to take the following actions:
Switch on period(s) for a given day. For instance, if you are going to teach 5A English during period 2 on Tuesday and Thursday, switch on the corresponding toggle.
Map one or more teachers to a class period using the teacher dropdown.
Add in a location where the class period could take place. You could add a virtual location as well, in the form of meeting links, for instance.
If a class can be tagged to multiple subjects, you can also specify the subject you will be teaching in each period.

When you save the changes to the timetable, you can set the validity period. Simply select the start and end dates for when this timetable will be effective. Click on ‘Upload’ to finalize the changes.

Once done, you can view the configured periods in the timetable.

View and download the timetable

As a teacher, you can view your own or another teacher’s schedule by clicking the ‘Timetable’ card on the homepage and selecting the teacher’s name from the dropdown at the top left.
Clicking a class period reveals its details and allows you to open the class in a new tab. For past or current periods, you can also mark attendance directly from this pop-up using the ‘Mark attendance’ button. You can view your timetable in either a weekly layout or a schedule list format using the dropdown on the top-right. Additionally, you can download the timetable as a PDF by clicking the ‘Download’ icon at the top.
