How can I access and restore deleted items using the Bin?

The Bin feature helps you recover items that were accidentally deleted or archived on Toddle. Instead of permanently losing important academic or planning data, you can restore it from the Bin.

Access the Bin

Navigate to the admin portal of a spcific school.

On the landing page, you will see separate tabs on the left pane for Courses, Unit plans, Tasks, Progress report sets, and Weekly planners.

Courses

The Courses tab shows all deleted courses for the selected school, including blueprint and teacher courses.
For each course, you can see the course name, course code, subject(s), grade level(s), and the user who deleted it.
Use the Search bar to find a course by name, or the filter (funnel) icon to narrow results by grade or subject.
To restore a course, click the restore (circular arrow) icon next to it. The course will return to its original location.
Note: Restoring a course, whether blueprint or teacher, does not automatically re-link it to its associated courses. If a blueprint course had linked teacher courses, or a teacher course was linked to a blueprint, you will need to re-establish those links manually after restoration.

Unit plans

The Unit plans tab lists all deleted unit plans for the selected school. For each unit, you can see its name as well as which user deleted it.
To refine your search, use the Academic year filter to focus on deleted units from a specific year. Additionally, use the filter (funnel) icon to narrow your results based on grade, subject, and the creator of the unit.
To restore a unit plan, click on the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the unit and select Restore. The unit will be returned to its original location.

Tasks

The Tasks tab lists all deleted tasks for the selected curriculum. This includes tasks deleted from within a unit plan, unit flow, course plan, or a class (such as from the assignments tab or gradebook tab). For each task, you can see its name and the user who deleted it.
To refine your search, use the Academic year filter to view deleted tasks from a specific year. The filter (funnel) icon can also be used to narrow results by grade, task type, and the creator of the task.
To restore a task, click on the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the task and select Restore. The task will be returned to its original location.
Note: When you restore a task, all associated data - including student submissions, grades, and assignment details - is restored along with it.

Progress report sets

The Progress report sets tab displays archived report sets for the selected school. Each entry includes details such as the set's title, mapped grades, tagged templates, date of generation, and deadline.
To refine your search, use the Academic year filter to view archived report sets from a specific year.
To restore a report set, click the Restore option associated with it. The report set will be returned to its original location.
Note: A report set cannot be deleted if some of its reports are shared or locked. You will need to unshare or unlock those reports before the set can be deleted.

Weekly planners

The Weekly planners tab lists all deleted weekly planners for the selected school. Each entry displays the planner's name, the user who deleted it, the date of deletion, and the classes it was shared with.
