Default outcomes help standardize how different types of incidents are handled across your organization. For each combination of incident sub-category and level, you can define the action to be taken and who the incident should be shared with.
What can I do on this page?
Use this page to manage default outcomes of incidents for your account.
Click any category to view its deepest sub-categories and linked levels. The levels listed are those associated with the category sentiment. Click Edit to start configuring the default outcomes for each sub-category + level combination. The actions to pick from are the ones that are already defined for the sentiment of the category. If you choose the Referral action, you need to select one or more staff to whom the incident should be referred. Define default sharing permissions: Select which users should receive access: students, families, the homeroom advisor, or selected staff. Set the level of access for each group - View only or Edit. Use Remove user to remove sharing access for a specific user. Select multiple rows to bulk apply actions or sharing permissions. Click Save to finalize your default outcomes. Things to keep in mind
The default actions and sharing permissions configured here will automatically appear as default options whenever an incident with that sub-category and level is created. Even if an incident is shared with students and families, they will see it only after it is published.
