The Assignments manager gives you a consolidated view of all assignments across the classes you teach. It helps you track student submissions, review pending work, and monitor assignment progress without switching between individual classes.

✏️ What can I do on this page?

Use this page to view, track, and organise assignments across classes:
View a list of all assignments across your classes, grouped by All, To-review, Reviewed, Scheduled, Drafts, and Unread messages.
Depending on the selected tab, track assignment progress at a glance, including:
Assignment name, creation/open date, associated class, submission status, and category (if applicable).
Student progress counts for Assigned, Turned in, Evaluated/Completed, and Shared.
Visual indicators for new student submissions and unread messages.
Click on any assignment to review its submissions.
Use the Filter option to narrow down assignments by criteria such as:
Class(es)- Displays the list of classes you are teaching.
Grading period(s)
Creator(s)
Switch between Card view and Table view to browse assignments in the format that best suits your workflow.
Card view is set as the default for all users.
Use Display settings to customise what appears on the page:
Assignment details: Controls visibility for fields such as due date, associated unit, grading period, and assessment category for each assignment.
Status count: Controls count visibility for assigned, pending, submitted, evaluated, completed, and shared assignments.
Sort by: Sort assignments by creation date, due date, or open/close date, with the ability to order them in ascending or descending order.

💡 Things to keep in mind

The Assignments manager shows assignments across all classes you teach, unlike the class-level Assignments page, which shows tasks for one class only.
Display settings and filters applied here are retained in the class-level assignments view, and vice versa, ensuring a consistent experience when managing assignments.
