Re Emily: Workload is high. She’s teaching in October, November, and will help with Advent Workshop and Pageant. I want to check in here and see if we can offer help, or, make sure she is comfortable taking on all of this.

We need to design the stations soon so any materials can be collected and advertising can go out.

Programs in Incubation: Contemplative / Centering Prayer group at OPC

Centering Prayer Group: Keep it simple. Short is fine. 1 hour workshop. Last 15 minutes are eating/dessert, 45 minutes of program time. Core of five kids. Three parents not on the committee first. Then we invite people like Donna Emily Christy Laurie to be present. Two or three teenagers to join us. Meeting at 6:00 with food and childcare, to start. We have an idea about centering prayer for kids and parents, come for our focus group. Introduce. Experience. Feedback. It’s an experiment — we don’t really know what we are doing but we are comfortable. Trying things thoughtfully. * Kristan Davis, parent. * Molly Burke, parent * Kristine Taylor, parent * Emily Goode / Frieda * Denise Stewart, could be helpful if she has the time.

Quarterly Children and Family Breakfast. Enhancing welcome, participation, leaning into SUNDAYS. Could be a passive vehicle for coordination etc., as is Fellowship Hour.

Let’s get the carpenter the materials + in the space

I'm hoping that we will have 25-30 minutes to look at Sunday School during our meeting.

I'd like to review which volunteers are slotted where and when as well as an idea I have to get the curriculum out to volunteers from me instead of you - if that would be helpful.

I also want to start planning the meeting with you for the 1st Sunday of the month although I'm sure you have a lot planned for that already.

The “Rectangle” is really helpful at getting to the heart of training matters.
