United Nations General Assembly,
Referring to the UN’s report on global sustainable development, five direct drivers of change have been identified as climate change, pollution, invasive species, exploitation of animals and vulnerable species, and improper use of land and sea,
Recognizing the urgent need for global action to combat the harmful effects of animal extinction rooted in climate change on the planet,
Acknowledges the fragility and correlation of these issues with the welfare of ecosystems and humanity as a whole,
Emphasizing the importance of international cooperation and intervention,

1) Introduces the RRR — (The Reforesting, Rehabilitating, and Ripening) plan.
Reforesting areas damaged by industries, climate change, pollution, and natural disasters.
Rehabilitating areas damaged by poaching, pollution, overfishing, wastewater production, soil and groundwater contamination, or habitat being drained or filled with water.
Protecting habitats by supporting land conservation efforts, planting native plants, and avoiding the use of chemicals that harm and kill off species.
Investing in the restoration of native habitats, making them more resilient to invasive species.
Developing and implementing IPM (Integrated Pest Management) strategies that use methods that are environmentally sustainable to minimize harm to native species from invasive alien species
Ripening trust between organizations and governments, policy measures, addressing causes of animal extinction as well as helping development and infrastructure to help support the prevention of animal extinction.
The IPCC indirectly influences local and national actions by providing scientific assessments and policy recommendations. Governments can use this information to formulate climate policies, collaborate internationally, engage communities, secure funding, and monitor progress in addressing animal extinction and climate change in countries like Finland, Chad, Norway, and Jordan.
The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) can collaborate with governments, engage local communities, and implement conservation projects to address animal extinction and climate change. By providing expertise, advocating for policies, and conducting public awareness campaigns, WWF contributes to sustainable practices and biodiversity protection in countries like Finland, Chad, Norway, and Jordan.
Allocating funds internationally to aid underdeveloped countries to achieve the same research and resources to combat animal extinction.
Implementing Strong Policy Measures:
Set ambitious yet achievable goals: Establish clear targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and protecting biodiversity, tailored to each nation's circumstances and development priorities.
Promote renewable energy: Support countries in transitioning to clean energy sources like solar, wind, and geothermal through technology transfer, capacity building, and financial incentives.
Foster sustainable land management: Encourage practices like afforestation, regenerative agriculture, and sustainable grazing to combat deforestation, land degradation, and habitat loss.
Combat illegal wildlife trade: Strengthen international cooperation and law enforcement to crack down on poaching and trafficking of endangered species.
Reduce, reuse, and recycle. Reducing waste, reusing resources, and recycling can help reduce overproduction and demand of products that contribute to deforestation, which in turn causes habitat loss, which is a huge contributor to animal extinction.
This reduces plastic usage which is a major threat to marine life.
;

2) Calls for Education and Awareness on animal extinction and its causes.
The IUCN’s Red List of Threatened Species:
It helps bring awareness to species and has comprehensible information on the global extinction risk of the status of animals
Encouraging the integration of lessons on biodiversity, conservation, and the causes of animal extinction in the educational curricula across various levels. This promotes a sense of environmental responsibility and awareness in students by ensuring they are introduced to these critical issues at a young age.
Allocating portions of natural parks or reserves to conserve and properly manage habitats to contribute to overall rehabilitation and conservation by utilizing public education and additional economic development.
Promoting the media and the digital space to increase awareness about animal extinction, climate change, pollution, poaching, etc. Additionally, supporting and initiating public awareness campaigns through various media channels,
Stresses the importance of local discussions and connections about causes of animal extinction. Connecting the private and public sectors alongside the state regulations to foster social sustainability.
Supporting teachers
Provide training and resources to help teachers enlighten students to learn about animal extinction and its causes
Supporting teachers will help provide basic education on the issue of animal extinction to the future of the world
Supporting Students and Adults
Promote education wherever available
Students work on government-incentivized projects to make climate change more seen and talked about as an issue.
Have sessions for adults to get job opportunities related to helping work against climate change(ex: rehabilitating an ocean habitat)
Helping adults learn about animal extinction will further help the children, who have the adults as caregivers and influential people in their lives.
Promoting human equality will heavily improve the fight against climate change, as we can make sure all are included, leaving their backgrounds behind them.
Promoting eco-tourism. Eco-tourism will help raise awareness about endangered and extinct species, as well as learning more about animal extinction and its causes.
;
3) Urges countries to work towards technological changes, research, innovation, and sustainability.
Working towards sustainability in agriculture.
Recommends the use of biofortification. (Process of enhancing nutrient content of crops by increasing density of vitamins and minerals in them)
Sustainable and cost-effective to reduce land use.
Transgenic approaches are especially sustainable and efficient.
Also recommends the use of Aquaponics (Fish provide nutrients to plants through broken-down excretion which lets plants grow, the plants filter the water for the fish)
Reduces land usage
Weather does not matter
Innovative
90-99% less water usage
Can be setup in rural and urban areas
Recommends the incorporation of sustainable water and waste management through the use of similar policies such as the EU Water Framework Directive to restore rivers and natural water sources and improve the management of distribution amongst municipalities and agricultural needs to prevent pollutants of wastes being improperly handled. Additionally, utilizing hydroelectric power as well.
Recommends the use of wind power or solar energy if feasible depending on the country's status.
Clean source of energy
Cost-effective
If done properly, it will work with the environment rather than impact or alter physical areas of the establishment.
Combating climate change as the source of animal extinction by means of reducing carbon footprints and transitioning to renewable energy sources. Banning harmful and unsustainable agricultural practices such as slash-and-burn agriculture, deforestation, and pollution of water sources.
Research of animal extinction
Integration of the scientific community by means of investing in research and innovation about animal extinction and its causes, specifically climate change, pollution, and poaching.
Work towards research and innovation utilizing natural environments rather than altering natural environments such as hydromodification.
Technological solutions
Implementing surveillance systems for the early detection of invasive species.
Drones and robotic devices can be employed for planting trees, reforesting areas, and restoring habitats, especially in hard-to-reach or hazardous terrains.
Drones equipped with cameras and sensors can be used to monitor remote areas to detect and prevent illegal activities such as poaching.
Advanced Monitoring Tags and Collars can be attached to animals to monitor their movements, migration patterns, and behavior. This data assists in understanding and preserving critical habitats.
Biotechnology can aid in developing tools for disease management and protecting vulnerable populations from infectious diseases.
Advocate for change
Contacting elected officials on local and international levels, urging them to support policies and laws that help protect endangered species and their habitats.
People who believe in the cause can contact their own local governing bodies or people who have been elected, while bigger organizations and the UN work with international levels of governments and organizations.
Urge the people to buy sustainable products, this will reduce demand for products that contribute to deforestation, habitat loss, pollution, and energy waste.
Work with other pre-existing organizations such as the Forest Stewardship Council and the Rainforest Alliance to create a new product certification of sustainability at different levels.
;
4) Calls for funding for solutions for animal extinction
Applying for grants from organizations, such as the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the Conservation International, or similar entities since many nonprofits and conservation organizations offer grants to support projects aligned with their mission.
Finding and analyzing government grants and financing efforts that promote technological innovation and conservation since different countries and regions have designated funds for environmental initiatives.
Collaborate with international aid organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and donor agencies that prioritize wildlife conservation or sustainability.
Launching targeted donation campaigns, both online and offline, to engage and get support from individuals who are passionate about wildlife conservation.
