My job search strategy + till graduation How analyse vacancy and company Information to check about company a company description spoon-feeds you what a company’s values are, what they stand for, and what they prioritize, you’ll want to touch on these during your selection process and interview(s). + Is the description long or short? (Ask yourself if this mirrors your own communication style). ? Does it focus on the company or the customer? (Do you, as an employee, want to be prioritized above a customer or do you believe the customer always comes first?) ? Are there any metrics or accolades in the description and if there are, which ones? (If the descriptions references winning “Top Place to Work” awards, for whom is it a top workplace—working mothers, recent grads, military families? Are you one of these people?) Information to check in job description “Do i want to work here?” When a job description has a question in it, use that! Turn it around and make it a statement somewhere in your application materials—in your cover letter, in an objective statement if you have one, or simply in the way you position yourself in conversation. NPS 100? this leads to a situation when I do not see some kind of level of performance that I would need to provide, working with existing clients, how many of them? how many incoming requests should I work with effectively on a daily basis? how frequently I would need to make analysis and reports for my current clients? Is it some kind of process that I have tools in place? What are they? I do not understand how the job is organized in the company, how inbound sales is organized, how leads come to us, how fast should I answer them, do we have some sort of tools for working with clients that would help to achieve more if I am doing inbound sales what are the funnel here, how people came to me, what are the channels how many current clients I would have, or at least proportion b/w new and old, will I get them right away, or I would need to collect my own client pool? I see missed opportunity here, as not much mentioned in Job duties about the company, what it strives for? You do not see that it's indeed, a very special company with the spirit and culture. Maybe it's explained earlier in the vacancy intro. But I think every word in the vacancy text, should showcase and tell more about the company. I do not see what stage company/product are, OKRs and some goals should give me some idea Are there any other synergies with other teams, except the Business team and IT team? Feedback gathering and giving ideas on product development is a synergy with the marketing team, I guess. Do you have QA, Support teams? Accountants who receive money and work with documents (agreements and so on) or should a person on this position work on that? Who would be my direct boss? Can the vacancy text be written like a letter from a team leader? How many people are in the team already working as customer success &business analysts I do not see what values the company has, what is the spirit? Using more creative unusual words and language can help to express the company's values knowing my goals and key results will allow me to evaluate myself and grow over time, and this is also about gamification and excitement of competition with yourself. I.e. you would need to perform a client servicing that would bring NPS of a certain level (put a number), this is our BHAG that we want to achieve in N period and this is higher than the industry's numbers (put a number) you need to have 80% of these skills and experiences to be a competitive candidate note qualifications I have note qualifications you don’t have yet - but how you are dealing already with this how requirements inform even more the bigger goals that needed to be achieved As you read, take notes oт what questions you can ask in an interview. For instance, what is the company’s definition of success? If the job posting notes other team members you’ll work closely with, ask questions about them. Note if you have worked with these roles in the past. Process of applying to jobs: copy paste name of the positions, company name/site, vacancy link or file, deadline? Am I fit to this job? and what precentage? Copy paste requirements into CRM. Am I fit to this job? and what precentage? 60% - technically you can apply, but it might not be the best use of your time
