Cycle for Survival’s virtual event is this Saturday, April 30th. I’ll be on with SoulCycle legend Sue Molnar at 10a Pacific/1p Eastern.
Cycle for Survival is a partnership between Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) Cancer Research Center and Equinox, raising funds for rare cancer research. Within six months after the close of fundraising each year, the money raised by Cycle for Survival riders and donors goes directly to MSK doctors and scientists, fueling bold ideas and breakthroughs.
As a SoulCycle instructor (which is part of the Equinox family of fitness brands), I’ve been given the opportunity to be one of 8 instructors nationwide teaching a virtual Cycle for Survival class on April 30th.
Think: SoulCycle’s version of a Peloton ride, but with a lot more–pardon the pun–soul 😉
Here’s how you can participate!
#1 Ride with us!
The Virtual Cycle for Survival Event will be streamed live (and available on demand for ~2 weeks afterwards) on the Equinox+ app. If you have a bike, or just want to hear some good music and encouraging words, I’d love for you to join us! You can do so via:
The SoulCycle At-Home Bike
SoulCycle streaming bikes available in Equinox gyms around the nation; or
Via the Equionx+ App
Regarding that last one: You can download the Equinox+ app for free, and enjoy a free 1-week trial. I won’t tell if you cancel immediately after the event ;)
If you’re interested in downloading the app for your free 1-week trial, you can do so here:
👉 Important note: You will be required to create an account and add payment information to activate the app; you can still cancel before the billing kicks-in, though! You can find cancellation instructions
Of course, the most important support is the support you show those in your life impacted by rare cancers. Keeping show up as you are, with love, care, and kindness. 🥰
If you can ride or donate, that’s great! If not, no sweat. (Perhaps literally . . . get it?)
