Initially, my ultimate goal was really to be able to produce or participate in the production of an international travel advertisement video or to be able to document a concert of a favorite artist/s of mine.
But right now I was thinking of a culmination of my roots -- Architecture. Music. Photography and Graphic Design.
For my inner growth, I want to re-fuel my drive for creating as I have been experiencing creative block and burned out from my day-job. I would also like to develop my confidence and trust in my skills more.

My dream project would definitely be a television or film series. It's not exactly the job expected of me as a Multimedia Arts graduate, nor is it the focus of agencies or studios, but deconstructing production components still make up the body of work that we creatives do.
Personally, I see myself working as a narrative creator or a production manager in the long run. While I'm working on that future objective, I'm really looking forward to be in more collaborative opportunities—regardless if I'm a designer, a copywriter, a motion graphic artist, or a project manager. Immersing in different roles and working with diversely-talented people will surely make me grow as a creative in more ways than one.

I dream of contributing my design abilities to initiatives that seek to improve our community and help fellow Filipinos, particularly within the aspects of education and agriculture. In these uncertain times, I recognize and acknowledge my privilege to be able to have enough (and at times, even indulge a bit). And as cliché as it may sound, indulgence isn’t always material — it may come in the form of lingering at the dining table, and having longer conversations with my parents. Listening closely to their stories - both of them coming out of poverty - has fuelled, and continue to fuel this dream of mine. My mom had struggles with finishing her education, as she has seven other siblings; and my dad was raised in a family of farmers.
Their life experiences, vividly told with pain points included, has planted a seed of longing in me to partake in initiative-driven projects through the way I’d like to help out - which is graphic design. The pandemic has heightened a slew of other crises, and while ending these may be out of our hands and may require more from the government, I believe there is power in creativity and it can be an instrument to educate and empower our fellow Filipinos. Designing for initiatives is a space I’d like to delve into, and it would be a dream to take part in one (or two, or how many I can devote myself to).
I’d like to grow by learning from the people around me: strategists, copywriters, photographers, fellow designers, and even clients. I believe that everyone has their unique insight and vision, and I’d like to see the ways in which these can enrich me; so I can integrate it onto my own practice of graphic design, illustration, and type. For me, keeping an open mind and being observant is also a form of education that leads to growth.
Aside from learning from others, I’m keen to refine my conceptual and technical skills, and also build confidence as a creative. When I arrive at an older age, and if it’ll be possible - I’d like to be a mentor figure to a younger designer, and help them navigate the industry and encourage them to explore their craft. Ultimately, I want to grow alongside fellow creatives, cultivate a sense of community, and advocate the mentality that there is room for everyone of us, and we can grow - together.

An essay collection about the internet, my identity, and their intersections! It's currently in its early stages - I'm waiting until I start my master's before I actually begin the writing process because I feel like a lot of what I want to cover can be better viewed through the lens of the program I plan to pursue, which is behavioral science/social psychology and anthropology.
Growing up in the digital age, a lot of my personal opinions and beliefs were formed by what I saw on social media. But unbeknownst to me then, most of these views are devoid of our local context and thus an inaccurate representation of how it is to be a Gen Z Filipino. Some of the topics I plan on discussing include the concept of girlboss feminism, sex work, NGOs/nonprofits, and repressive Catholic high schools, among many others :)
By working alongside new people from a wide variety of industries! (I answered the way I did for the Industry Preference question for the sake of following instructions but I honestly do not mind where you take me, should I be chosen as part of And A Half's network.) I've found that my creativity thrives best when I connect with others to get to the root of their problems, and that the lessons I learn while working on one particular thing subconsciously bleed into my other projects and give me a fresher perspective!
It's why I'm drawn to freelance and agency work so much: I'm never tied down to a singular function or client so every new assignment just signifies another opportunity to immerse myself in another context!

My dream project is to create a visual design material or an output that can help our farmers in the long term. Specifically, I want to create a toolkit containing: a training manual that tackles the techniques and methods of farming and a mini book containing laws that involve farmers' rights. To execute this efficiently, I will have to seek a partnership with agricultural organizations, design and print agencies, and pro bono law firms.

I've always dreamed of being able to design a print media, specifically the fashion and lifestyle magazines. Since I am highly exposed to creating social media posts and other kinds of informational posters, I consider layout designs as my dominant skill in graphic design. Hence, having them printed and consumed by other people is really an idea that excites me. Another dream project is to have a branding work for a food and beverage company, such as the works your team has accomplished for Balay Dako and 11:11.
As an artist, I always design alone, since that is something I've grown to be comfortable with. But then I realized that having a community is another experience that affects the growth of a creative. I'm currently at my last year of high school with the hopes of finding a team that I can learn and grow with. My sister introduced me to your company saying that I should grab the opportunity to learn from you and how you go about your operations, most especially for branding work. Since I'm still a student, I'm willing to offer my skills without any payment, and after an amount of time, you can get to decide if I'm of use to the community you're building. Although I truly understand if a working student is not what you're looking for at the moment, but I hope there comes a time where you're open for internship!

To design and create a brand strategy for a local artist/band, fashion, and beauty brand.
As a creative, I want to improve in art direction. To be able to push my imagination beyond the boundaries when it comes to concepts and execution. To broaden my knowledge when it comes to brand strategy, brand exploration, and storytelling. To take notice of the great and efficient ways to communicate with consumers, not just for the purpose of generating sales but also for sharing stories and evoking emotion. I would also like to improve my technical skills with programs, as well as my problem-solving abilities, reimagining, simplifying, and communicating clearly when it comes to design.

Personally, as of right now, I am figuring out what I want to truly pursue. I have a lot of passions that sometimes become difficult as to what I want to focus on, but it also helps me understand myself. I have been jumping from multiple projects while I'm in college to understand my strengths and weaknesses as a creative. I have worked on projects that help promote volunteerism, projects that promote job opportunities, and even projects that promote the art industry. As of right now, I have been looking into understanding reels and advertising as a whole. However, if I were given a choice to decide what kind of project I would love and be passionate about working on, it would either be fashion, video game related, or in the food industry.
I want to continue my growth as a creative by constantly looking for a change in pace and working on projects that are both within and outside of my comfort zone. I want to continue challenging myself to become better, more innovative, and spontaneously creative. I want to be able to adjust and adapt from one genre to another when it comes to working. I want to be able to work in professional settings while balancing the creative inputs that give me freedom of expression.
