Notable Changes

Expand Dress Selection on Color Pages

We are currently exploring with your team the possibility of AI image-generation for the color pages.

Navigation Bar Changes

As previously discussed, navigation changes were deprioritized during the recent all-time traffic and ranking spikes to avoid potential SERP disruptions.
Now that the peak has slightly declined, and with the wedding category showing particularly strong results, we’d like to revisit this. Below is our working document of proposed changes.

Metadata Updates

Our team is now reviewing all of your meta titles and metadata on a monthly basis, including the meta information for your existing pages that we are not doing any other active work on, to ensure these are appropriately optimized and pulling correctly. Both your current meta titles and metadescriptions, as well as any suggested updates from our team, are all included in , in the “Master Tab”. To execute the changes needed, please follow these steps:
For everything marked as ‘approved’ in column B, check the color-coding.
Any cells in the “Live” columns (C and D) that are green do not need any changes.
Any cells in those columns that are white need to be replaced with the copy in the “Updated Version” column (E and G) in the relevant row.
Our team will routinely push any meta title or meta description changes for blog posts live ourselves. For all other pages, you will need your team to do this, as we do not have page access.

H1 Changes for Ball Gown and Prom Dress Color Pages

Our team spotted an issue where several of your colorway pages, as well as your Ball Gown collection page, had duplicate H1s, which can confuse search engines about your page structure. We provided a list of all affected pages, and these changes have now been made; this task has since been marked “Complete” in the task tracker.

Silhouette Page H1s and Nav Bar Errors

Our team reached out regarding revisiting suggested changes to some of your Silhouette pages; many of these pages have H1s (and drop-downs from the nav bar) that don't use the word "Dresses" - i.e., "Halter" and "Mermaid" instead of "Halter Dresses" or "Mermaid Dresses").
Unless there's another reason not to make these changes on your end, ideally, the majority of these should be changed to include "Dresses", except where it doesn't make logical sense (i.e., "Jumpsuits"), as the "Dresses" variant is more accurate to how people search.
Additionally, two errors in your Nav Bar drop-downs should be fixed for the following pages:
Empirewaist - should be Empire Waist
Highslit - should be High Slit

Product Page Heading Structure Optimizations

We’re working on a list of suggestions to improve our product pages, aiming to add more depth and information to provide a richer experience for both users and search engines.

Colorway Link Additions

Our team is now performing quarterly checks of all your colorway pages to look for the best linking opportunities between pages within the same silo as additional pages go live. Our next check will be completed in September, and any needed changes to live copy to incorporate new links will be emailed to you to have your team push live after our check is complete.
