Linea Comes To India

Objective

To increase the number of apps built on Linea by Indian developers and increase its brand presence among the Indian crypto community.

What is Linea?

Linea is a layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum built using zero-knowledge proof rollups to ease transaction load on the mainnet. It is developed by ConsenSys, the same company behind Metamask and Infura.

What is the goal of this proposal?

To build a roadmap to increase Linea’s presence in India and the Indian developer community.

How are we aiming to do this?

OUR PROPOSAL:

To build the Linea’s Ecosystem in India PYOR and the team will run – developer-centric programs across cities in India.

We will do this through a mix of:

Brand Building: To promote Linea’s image

Execution Programs: To build DApps on Linea

All of this will result in – Linea being the application layer for developers. This will be presented through a Demo Day where chosen builders will showcase to ecosystem partners and have the opportunity to secure a grant to scale the project.

This will be the centerpiece of our community engagement program. All our efforts across – the Developer Partnership, City-wide Meetups, and Student Ambassador Programme – will lead to the Grants program.

Under this program, we will get developers to build hands-on on Linea.
